Ease Single Inn

For a stopover, the location works well: it's a 10-minute walk from Taichung railway station and two minutes from the bus to Taichung International Airport. The shower area was clean and dry. There's no washing machine, but there is a spin dryer and clothes hangers. The dog was welcoming and liked playing with guests. The hostel sits in an old commercial building. One drawback is that neither the female dorm nor the lobby has a window, so it may not suit you if you want sunlight.

Friendly, clean, and comfortable, though my room had no window. The hostel is on one floor of an old building and shares the lift with places like a night club and comic book shop. The KTV is upstairs, but I didn't hear it.

I spent nine nights here, and the room stayed quiet and peaceful. You can hear karaoke singing in the pantry area, but that was about it. The room and bathrooms were consistently clean, with separate wet and dry shower areas. The staff were friendly, and there's a bus stop right below the inn with buses going to almost anywhere in Taichung.

I enjoyed staying here. It was quiet, well air-conditioned, clean, and spacious, with fridge provisions. The staff were nice despite having limited English, and the pet dog was cute.
