Kindness Hotel Han Shen

Service was very kind. The room was clean and spacious, with a separate bathroom, and there are free washing and drying machines for clothes.

The staff are friendly and professional, and the rooms are very clean. It's a bright, clean place overall. Breakfast is available, and the free laundry, 24-hour coffee, and ice cream are big pluses.

The location worked well for me, within walking distance of central park and the mrt station, and I'd stay here again. Breakfast was included and wasn't bad, though the choices were quite limited. There were refreshments all day, including juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, plus snacks and six ice cream flavors. My friend and I were on the 8th floor, served by just one elevator. The room was a nice size and clean, and the bathroom was quite big. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and facial wash. I was glad to have the facial wash since I'd forgotten mine. We also got bottled water each day, and there was filtered water in the room. The hotel looked pretty clean, and the staff were so nice. They stood and bowed respectfully when we came into the lobby, and were quick to greet us and help however they could.

The breakfast was a highlight, a pretty generous spread for a simple hotel: stir-fried dishes, rice, porridge, soup, cereal, salads, coffee, tea, and juice. The room was thoughtfully laid out, really clean, and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturizers, and facial wash. There was even a tap with reverse osmosis water for refilling bottles and making tea. It's conveniently set a little off the busy main stretch, but still within walking distance of lots of food and bars. The main shopping area is a bit farther on foot. The hotel isn't luxurious, but the service and amenities were well considered. Coffee, tea, and self-serve ice cream were free 24 hours a day. Laundry machines and dryers were free too, and staff would even help dry your clothes once the wash finished. The reception is staffed around the clock by polite, kind people who answered questions even at 1am. Service was efficient, polite, and unobtrusive. I'd definitely stay again.
