Kindness Hotel Xiong Zhong

The 24/7 snack area was a lovely extra, with steamed buns, bread and spreads, juice, coffee, popcorn, and ice cream. Breakfast was another highlight: a delicious buffet with lots of options. Laundry was easy too, with free self-service washers and dryers on the ground floor near the kitchen. Our room was clean and spacious, with windows, a large comfortable bed, plenty of towels, and complimentary bottled water. Staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout, and the price made it hard not to recommend the place. Royal Group Hotel is about a five-minute walk from Kaohsiung Station, which made getting around easy. I had a great stay and would definitely come back if I visit Kaohsiung again.

Our room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was traditional Chinese style, with hot soups and other hot food, plus soy milk served hot or cold. The hotel is handy for the MTR and TRA train station. Snacks were available around the clock, including juice, tea, crackers, and ice cream. The taro and green tea ice cream were great, especially the taro. Those crackers were so tasty that I wished I could get more, but couldn't find them anywhere.

The room was clean and well maintained, with four complimentary bottles of water. Free laundry facilities, including a dryer, were available too. Most of the staff were accommodating, though the receptionist with long, straight black hair and bangs was quite rude during our stay. The hotel is conveniently close to Kaohsiung Station, with metro access to the airport and bus stations nearby. Breakfast is complimentary, and snacks and drinks, including ice cream, are available 24 hours.

The location and rooms are quite good, butterfly. But they told us we couldn't leave our luggage because storage was full. Other hotels usually find space for guests' bags, and the two women there didn't even try to organize it.
