Love River Inn

The river views were lovely, and the snacks were a nice touch. Having laundry downstairs was helpful too. We loved staying here, close to everything but still tucked away from it all.

We found feces on a towel, hair in the bed sheets, trash under the bed, no hot water at the sink, and a shower curtain held with tape that fell down. The room was noisy and smelled bad, too. The rooms were old and very dirty, and the overall environment was poor. After I complained, we were “upgraded,” but the larger room was just as old and dirty. In short, don't spend more than NTD 600 here.

The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the Love river right nearby. There's a convenience store within walking distance, and a bike rental rack close by that's relatively easy and cheap to use for getting around the city. I picked the place mostly for its price, but ended up enjoying the area quite a bit. The main issue was the wifi. My room was too far away from it, connection was difficult, and I couldn't stream movies on the TV because it kept disconnecting. I'd likely stay here again if I return to the city, as long as the price hasn't jumped to something unreasonable.

The place was very clean and comfortable, and the owner was generous. Thank you so much, Rover 🙏😊. I'll recommend it to friends visiting Kaohsiung.
