The traditional Japanese wooden house, or Minka, gave us the experience of sleeping on futons over tatami, with sliding doors and a wooden structure. Most of the Japanese touches were there, and the place was well managed and clean. It sits in the heart of the Victorystar tourist area and is also close to the railway station, so getting around was convenient. The toilet and shower are in a smaller separate unit on the same property, a bit like a granny flat. That could be a challenge if you're traveling with older people. Since the house faces a main road, there's a fair amount of traffic noise. Light sleepers should bring earplugs.

We spent two nights here as five people, and the house was very comfortable with lovely decor. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were glad to answer our questions. In the morning, breakfast arrived promptly, with a good range of food. I'd definitely recommend staying here in pingtung.

Shops and restaurants are close by, and the house was really well located. We stayed as a group of five and found it comfortable, with thoughtful decor and lots of special touches. The welcome was warm, and we enjoyed the breakfast. I'd highly recommend it for a visit to Pingtung.

A lovely area, with cafes and other amenities nearby. The guesthouse has been beautifully renovated in a Japanese architectural style, and staying there felt special and comfortable. Highly recommend it if you're in pingtung!

Being from pingtung, I loved having my friends stay with me in my hometown, especially in such a gorgeous guesthouse. There were five of us, and the host and staff helped make it a great time. The place is right in the city centre, in the lovely shengli creative area, with cafes and restaurants to check out nearby. They'd thought of everything, even having breakfast delivered right to the door. Thanks for a lovely stay 🙏
