The staff I met were all friendly and glad to help, and the free airport shuttle was a real plus. It’s hard to beat the location near Kaohsiung Airport. I booked a cheap room without windows. It was clean enough, and even had a bath mat, which I don’t often see at this price. The shower area showed some signs of renovation: the sink was bright white porcelain, but sat on supports that looked a little rusty. Some wallpaper was peeling, and the phone jack panel had come off the wall. I couldn’t put it back, so I just hoped there wasn’t anything in the walls about to come out.

Showba 24 hour supermarket is a five-minute walk away, and the hotel has bikes guests can use. It’s also conveniently close to Kaohsiung airport, with a shuttle to get there. Breakfast is a decent, traditional buffet with a few Western choices like toast and different spreads.

The area itself doesn’t have much, but this is a handy place to stay if you have a late arrival or early flight. It’s a five-minute drive from Kaohsiung Siaogang international airport, and there’s a complimentary transfer. My room was clean and comfortable. I had no problem with noise and slept really well. Recommended!

I’ve stayed here many times on business trips with my Malaysian colleagues. It isn’t a fancy hotel, but the staff are consistently warm and attentive to what guests ask for. Breakfast is local-style, and I thought it tasted good. Everyone I met, from the front desk and housekeeping to the ladies serving meals, was friendly 😊
