Single Inn - Kaohsiung Station

I liked the value, especially with breakfast included, and the front desk staff kindly suggested some good local food nearby. It's easy to get to, close to Kaohsiung station. There's an onsen, but I couldn't use it this time for personal reasons. The restroom could be cleaner. The toilets were clean, but the washer room felt a bit old. For this price, you can't compare it with fancier places. Keep in mind it's for solo travelers.

The room was cosy, and getting there from the station takes only 5-6 minutes. There was a little noise at midnight, but the stay had thoughtfully provided earplugs in advance. A nice option for a solo traveller.

I came for a quick concert trip for CxM and had a great stay. It's perfect for a single traveller, with a room that's good enough for one and clean shower facilities. The station and night market are both just 5 minutes away. It was also very important to me that they had a HV window.

I'm visiting from New York City USA and was so happy with my choice that I extended my original two night reservation by another 2 nights. I'm still a guest here, writing this on May 10, 2026. The room is tidy, clean, lockable, and has very strong air conditioning. The bedding and towels are very clean and new. There are gender separated shower facilities on each floor, with body wash and shampoo in the shower, plus cotton swabs, 2 hair dryers, and paper towels on the wall in the bathroom. The first and second floor recreation areas are spacious, clean, and strongly air conditioned, with a hot and cold water dispenser. There's also a unisex bathroom on the 2 FL. Laundry facilities include a coin operated washer and dryer, and there's a shared refrigerator. The location is handy, just 2 blocks from Kaohsiung Train station. A bank that's an official foreign exchange bank is on the same block, 3 doors down, so changing currency is easy. The night market is 3 blocks away and operates 365 days a year. I'd stay here again when I'm in town.
