It was okay.

In Room 265, I’d asked the front desk whether there were adult channels. The receptionist said using the up and down buttons to change channels wouldn’t bring one up, so I felt okay letting my two first-year junior high students use the TV on their own. But before long, an adult channel came on, and they saw about 10 seconds of images with strange sounds and poses. It’s hard to imagine what they might have done to their classmates later if no adult had been there. Parents should be careful and not let children operate the TV or play alone in the room, in case something similar happens. The room itself was clean, and the bathtub’s bubble massage function made it relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was a good buffet with about four drinks and more than ten dishes to choose from. I especially liked the chicken nuggets and milk tea, and even my 70-year-old elder enjoyed the meal and was very satisfied. The small TV in the restaurant was showing news about current affairs with content that seemed clearly biased toward a particular political party. That made me uncomfortable while I ate.

After checkout, I noticed some unknown sticky residue sprayed on the passenger-side window and rearview mirror. It had seeped into the window and I couldn’t wipe it off. It looked like hose adhesive, and nobody said anything about it, which felt really bad.

Room 112 smelled when I walked in, had no basic water, drinks, or coffee packets, and the metal door sensor kept beeping because it was malfunctioning. I moved to room 115, where there were drinks but still no water. The bathtub had hair and sand on it, there was urine residue on the toilet, and a pile of hair was on the floor. I felt cheated by the booking website.
