Gloria Manor

The staff were the real highlight. They patiently answered all our questions, helped us call taxis, and arranged transport to the bus stop. Scott checked us in and clearly walked us through the amenities, dining hours, and even the air conditioning controls, which was really helpful. We were very happy with the clean, nice rooms, the amazing views, and the location. The free shuttle drops you at different areas, too. And the food at mu restaurant was really good, both at breakfast and dinner. Our stay at gloria manor exceeded my expectations.

The food at MU Restaurant was a highlight. It’s more than a typical hotel restaurant and worth visiting even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Don’t stop at breakfast, dinner is highly recommended. Every dish was delicate and flavorful, made with high-quality local ingredients. The kindness of the staff stood out throughout our stay. Cathy communicated promptly and clearly before we arrived, and Irene welcomed us warmly and helped us thoughtfully during the trip. Everything felt smooth and stress-free. We were unsure if swimming would be possible in mid-December, but Xiaowan Beach and Baisha Beach became unforgettable parts of our trip. The hotel also arranged a wonderful snorkeling tour. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and found it easy to get around despite the hotel being inside a national forest. With shuttle arrangements made ahead, the night market and Kenting National Park were easy to reach, and staff helped arrange taxis for longer trips. We could explore comfortably, then come back to rest among the forest, trees, and ocean views. Gloria Manor made it possible for us to appreciate Kenting’s natural beauty, and the vacation was so lovely we’d like to return every year. Absolutely beautiful and perfect. Highly recommended.

The outside looks a little aged, though that didn’t affect the interior design. The breakfast was excellent for both the food and the service. The staff at the MU lounge were friendly, and they noticed we needed to walk our child and offered us a new meal set without us even asking. That service surprised me. Strongly recommend staying in Kenting if your budget allows. I’m a Marriott lifetime platinum member and have stayed at hundreds of hotels, so this one stood out.

The room looked out over the pool, lawn, and mountains, and the view was breathtaking every morning. The breakfasts were great, and the free shuttle made it easy to get into town and to the national park. All the staff were so kind and helpful, and went the extra mile, especially Paul. We booked four nights at Gloria Manor hoping for a relaxing stop on our holiday around Taiwan. It turned out to be that and more, a truly special and beautiful place.
