Joy Inn

Most of the staff were really nice and helpful, and I appreciated the room service and front desk service. There’s a 7-11, Starbucks, and restaurants nearby, too. Our double room was clean and tidy, with enough space and very good air conditioning. The Wi-Fi was only so-so. At breakfast, though, waiting for the small oven was almost killing me. Please put in a bread toaster instead. Highly recommend 👏

The location made it easy to come and go, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Our company, Seatrench from Norway, stayed for 30 days. The rooms were comfortable, though small. Breakfast had plenty of decent options, so everyone could find something to eat. A special mention to Zhu Shuli at the buffet. She stood out for her customer service and was always helpful on breakfast duty. She really seems to appreciate her job. The staff in general were very kind and friendly.

We stayed here a year ago and somehow never got around to reviewing it. The staff were warm and helpful, and our room felt roomy, modern, clean, and full of natural light. There’s a lot to see and eat in Lukang. We’d heard a full day would be enough, but after being there, we realized there was so much more. Many attractions were within walking distance of the hotel. The restaurants were amazing. Breakfast was a seemingly never-ending buffet with tasty choices from different cuisines, and the restaurant with a view was just right for a quiet evening and mouth-watering food. Everything we tried was fantastic. We completely recommend Joy Inn, a hidden gem in Taiwan.

Breakfast had an excellent spread. thick vermicelli soup was especially good, flavourful without being salty, and even better with a little vinegar. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel had modern amenities, including earplugs and dental floss. It’s near Lukang Stadium, with a Starbucks on the side road leading to the hotel. Lukang old street and the Lukang Mazu Temple are within walking distance.
