The owner took me in late at night, and the warm welcome made this hostel feel much less commercial than other backpacker places. It's rare to find somewhere this inviting in Yilan. The environment is clean, with thoughtful little touches and a feel that's both homey and refined. It's also close to the night market, and the owner is beautiful. If you're visiting Yilan, consider staying here. It's really great.

The landlady was really friendly, and the hostel was very clean with a comfortable overall layout. It also has an elevator. I'd definitely come back to this backpacker hostel if I get the chance.
