A handy place to stay, with clean rooms. I was there for one night. The room was basic and old, though they’ve tried to update it, and it was clean. The person handling check-in didn’t speak English but tried to help anyway. It’s on a busy crossroads, so light sleepers should bring earplugs.

For our two-night stay, the price was very reasonable, about NT$2,000 in total. The staff changed our towels and left three bottles of water for the triple room, which was a thoughtful touch. We were in room 503, and the bathroom was huge and very well ventilated. I’d stay here again. I came from Taipei and booked a triple room for two through Booking.com, from January 9th to January 11th, 2026. I wasn’t sure why the online ratings were low, but we had a great stay. We were lucky to get a room on the fourth floor, which wasn’t too noisy, and it was well equipped. There was some traffic noise at night from the main road, which is to be expected. It’s close to the night market, but traffic noise may matter depending on what you need, so choose with that in mind.

The low price and proximity to the night market are about all this place has going for it as a convenient stop. After one night, everyone felt itchy all over, and the mattress even had a hole, so it didn’t seem very clean. The TV was tiny and mounted near the ceiling, which left our necks sore. The air conditioner remote barely worked beyond the power button, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature. Smoke kept coming through the bathroom pipes whenever someone in another room smoked. Complaining didn’t help, and some inconsiderate guests kept smoking anyway. The shower temperature also swung unpredictably from hot to cold.

The place was fairly clean and inexpensive, but I barely slept. The bed was too hard, and I kept getting up during the night. Parking was available, though a bit of a walk away. I’d set everything up the night before, but in the morning I was stopped on my way out because the ticket had expired. It was embarrassing. Luckily, I was able to reset it and leave.
