Greenpark Homestay

We had trouble locating the place at first. Look for the cat sign halfway along the south side of the street. Once we found it, we had a clean, modern, comfortable stay, and the owner was very friendly.

The hygiene was shocking. I woke up with ants and spiders on the bed and couldn't sleep all night, then even found that ants had followed me home. I've never stayed in such an unclean guesthouse before, and I wouldn't recommend it.

For under $2000 a night, the low price and parking are definite pluses. The bed is firm but comfortable, though the laundry detergent smell is much too strong. The place has the basics you'd expect from a hostel, so keep expectations modest. Maintenance could be better, the bathroom only provides bath towels, and the second-floor room door just locks with a simple push. There are no handrails on the stairs, so children need to be careful.

The landlady was polite and friendly, and the stay felt like being at home. Our family was very satisfied: the room was clean and comfortable, the bed was especially comfortable, and there was a dehumidifier. Parking was easy, and the location is very convenient, especially for Luodong Sports Park. We'd definitely return.
