Happiness Yes Hostel

We really enjoyed the stay and the easy walk to the night market. The room had a slide and a little cabin, and the kids had a blast. At arrival, the front desk staff were very helpful. In the toilet and shower area, I wished there were more towel hangers. We also found out that toilet paper can't be flushed, so tourists should keep that in mind. I do wish the staff had stayed friendlier after check-in, since they didn't really speak to us unless we needed help.

The lobby walkway was being used to store washed mattresses and other things, which made it feel very unwelcoming. The one laundry area also looked quite run down. My room was in rough shape, and I was taken aback when I saw it. I tried to switch, but there were no rooms available. The renovated rooms looked better, so ask for one when booking. In the older room, you couldn't flush toilet paper, and the toilet bowl blocked the door so I couldn't even open it.

The indoor slide and ball pit were good value, and the hotel is near the night market. There were a lot of staff, some of them friendly. But during our three-night stay in rooms 303 and 602, everyone in my group got bitten on our arms and legs on the first day. We asked for the bedsheets to be changed, and the second day was fine, but we got bitten again on the third night. It was the worst stay of my trip. Parking was across the railway, a walk away.

The rooms were clean and the staff really friendly. Parking was super convenient, and the night market is only a short walk away. Everything about our stay was perfect. I hope I get to come back.
