The owner really made this stay for us. We were coming all the way from Kaohsiung to Yilan overnight, and after I explained our situation, they got everything ready quickly and to a high standard. My family was exhausted and nodding off over lunch, so we asked about an early check-in and the owner responded right away, making an exception for a higher price. I was deeply touched that they understood. Some people may prefer the cheaper rates on booking platforms, and that is a personal choice. If you use a platform, you follow its rules. Going directly to the owner to discuss things might cost more, but the service and attitude made it worthwhile. They were just as helpful whether or not you booked the whole house. I'm grateful my family could get some rest before continuing our trip. Next time I'm in Yilan, I'll book this affordable B&B again, either the Luodong branch or the Fengge branch. We booked all four rooms in the four-person building, one of two buildings at the guesthouse. The other building has double rooms. There's space for several cars, and the entrance door lock is unusual. The living room isn't as big as at a boutique hotel, but it's clean, bright, and comfortable. The karaoke area was good, though I don't know whether it was too loud in the other building. The mahjong and dining areas could use their own air conditioning, since the living room unit and fan don't cool the dining area and it gets hot. The stairwell and bathroom also get warm. Rooms are large, with beds at a comfortable height and firmness, thoughtful decor, and a small refrigerator in each. The bathrooms are spacious, clean, and bright. Apart from the heat around the stairs, bathroom, and toilet, I had little to complain about. The location is also a big plus: close to Luodong Station, the city center, National Highway 5, and CPC Corporation's Quanlian Department Store. Highly recommended!

We each got our own blanket, which I loved. No sharing or fighting over one blanket, so handy! 👍 The owners were incredibly friendly, and the rooms were bright and clean. The location is quiet, with a PetroChina and PX Mart supermarket just outside the intersection, and Luodong Night Market isn't far away.
