We were close to Magong city center, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with water and a fridge. Communication was quick and easy, and the welcoming owner shared tips on good places to eat and take photos. Breakfast was delicious each day, and when we had to leave early for island hopping, takeout breakfast was a handy option. The car rental company by the airport could take our luggage to the guesthouse after we rented a car, then bring it back to the airport on our last day. We dropped off the car there, picked up our bags, and caught our flight. It made the itinerary very convenient. A fantastic stay.

The breakfast was delicious, and the couple explained what they’d brought when they delivered it, which felt really thoughtful. We had bacon and smoked chicken pancakes with lettuce salad, fruit, and coffee or black tea; another meal was two-color rice balls with fruit, squid balls, seaweed and egg drop soup, plus coffee or black tea. They were so welcoming and attentive, too, and gave us helpful travel information. It was my first time in Penghu, and my child and I felt very cared for. The owners are locals and know Penghu’s culture, customs, and attractions well. Their itinerary suggestions were especially considerate for our four-year-old and my mother-in-law, with ideas that worked for both adults and children. Our room was clean and tidy, and its simple, stylish, practical decor made it easy for our family to relax. The warm hospitality and local advice made us feel valued, and we appreciated their professionalism. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in Penghu.

We had an unforgettable surprise on our last night: several families were celebrating our child’s birthday on the first floor, and the host brought over a little cake like Santa Claus. They’d also made breakfast early on the two mornings we had to leave for the ferry. The host was friendly and attentive throughout. It’s a cozy, beautiful B&B, with nicely decorated rooms that put you in a vacation mood. I slept comfortably all three nights. Penghu is beautiful, and we’ll choose this place again when we return.
