It was my first time renting an entire guesthouse in Penghu, and I was surprised to find the owner staying there with our group. I often ran into him, and it left me feeling short on privacy. His personal belongings were on the first-floor bar counter, even though the guesthouse photos showed it clear and usable. We were told we couldn't use it, and couldn't find any tableware either. The fridge was packed with personal things, and when we asked to borrow some space for items that needed chilling, the owner seemed reluctant. If these things aren't available, I don't think the place is suitable for renting as a whole guesthouse. There were no slippers inside. They were in the shoe cabinet, but the owner hadn't mentioned that, and they looked dirty and untidied. The bathroom diatomaceous earth mat was dark enough that we hesitated to step on it. We also saw miniature cockroaches, and the room's LED lights felt rather eerie. This is just what I experienced.

It was my first visit to Penghu, and the stay honestly wasn't great. The bar in the private building wasn't available, and at first I was told the bar fridge didn't work. When you're traveling with family, you naturally have drinks and milk to keep cold, so being limited to the fridge in your room was really inconvenient. I understand the B&B owner may have a lot to handle, but even after I raised an issue, it wasn't fixed right away.

The owners, a husband and wife, were so warm and thoughtful. Every time we got back from an outing, they were there with snacks. That kind of care was hard to beat. We got lucky booking this all-inclusive guesthouse for our Mother's Day trip to Penghu. It was near the city center, with an elevator and a roomy living area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shower pressure stayed steady. Breakfast and round-trip airport transfers were included, so the trip felt easy and homey. MiLe Guesthouse will be our first choice when we visit Penghu again 😊😊😊.

The owner was so considerate, even reminding us before the trip to pack a light jacket because it gets windy. Once we arrived, he offered itinerary ideas and local restaurant suggestions. We even stayed in for drinks one evening, and his special cocktails were fantastic. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable.

The room was clean and well-equipped, and you can tell the owner takes care of the place. He was friendly, asked about my plans, and reminded me to keep drinking water each day. The price was reasonable and it’s very close to Magong city center. I’d stay here again on another trip to Penghu.
