The rooms were clean, and the hosts were helpful!

My family and I, all 15+1 of us, stayed here together last week. The owners were so warmly hospitable, thank you! 🤗💕 There’s drinking water from the first-floor kitchen tap, and each floor has a mini-fridge. There’s always aloe vera gel on the living room table for guests. You can bring your own and chill it in your room’s fridge too, then it feels so soothing to put on back at the guesthouse ❄️. The long table in the living room was perfect for our large family trip, so we could all share meals together. The rooms and bathrooms were very new, the hairdryer had strong airflow, and everything was spotless. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into maintaining the place 🥰. P.S. The bathroom has plenty of space, and the room itself is clean and lovely. The owner was warm and friendly too.

It’s a lovely, clean, comfortable guesthouse, though I didn’t find it welcoming for a family. It may suit backpackers better. The place is some distance from the city center, so factor that in if you’re renting a scooter. The landlady seemed very concerned about our schedule with a child. She booked snorkeling and dinner for us, then kept urging us to head out because she said it was hard to manage time with a child. To me, that went beyond what a guesthouse owner needs to handle. She also lives there, it seems, and said she had to get up early to make breakfast, so our noise would disturb her. At 11 pm she was already complaining that we were noisy. A child can be noisy, of course, but I was thinking of the other guests too, so when she suggested we go our separate ways, we did. We were in the living room before 11 pm. Still, when we came downstairs at 9:30 the next morning, she complained again that we’d stayed up late and said that if we were tired, we shouldn’t stay up so late. We had our own plans and pace, and the disdainful look made the whole thing uncomfortable. On checkout day she reminded each of us again. Maybe she meant well, but it came across as if she wanted to hurry us out, even though we were already reminding one another. She turned off all the living room air conditioning and put away the remote that had been left in plain sight. Since it was checkout time, I can see why she didn’t want us lingering. We packed up and left. I’m describing what happened as neutrally as I can, but those reminders felt irritating.
