Our four-person room was clean and had a gorgeous industrial-style look. The wardrobe was huge, I wanted to take it home! 🤣🤣 If several women are getting ready together, bring a mirror so you don't have to share one. The bathroom mirror is large and clear, and the bathroom was clean, too. The shower and toilet are separate, hot water and water pressure were great, and both the shampoo and body wash rinsed off easily without leaving residue. The hairdryer is Panasonic, so you can leave yours at home and save luggage space. 🥹 The room itself was so comfortable, especially the cool air conditioning after days when the Penghu sun was too strong to go out. The bed, pillows, and blankets were all very soft. It wasn't one of those noisy places that feels like sleeping in a plastic bag! 🤣 For our first trip to Penghu, the owner made things easy from the start, helping with ferry tickets and scooter rental. When we arrived at the guesthouse, our scooter was already waiting outside, and the owner even picked us up after we got off the ferry. They were incredibly friendly and quick to reply to messages, and on the first day the owner showed us a map and pointed out good places to eat and have fun. The guesthouse is close to the city center and Guanyin Pavilion, so it's easy to ride over for the fireworks. The city is convenient to reach, and there's a 7-Eleven within walking distance. I was worried about the rain forecast and the typhoon that had hit Taiwan a few days before our trip, but the Penghu weather was so sunny that we mostly stayed in the room for the last three days.
