Mahalo B&B II

I was here just before a typhoon, so I had the whole place to myself. Frank was a dream host and even picked me up at the airport. The location was easy to find and close to the beach. The kitchen was great, with a stove for cooking dinner. The bed was a little hard, though I think younger guests will sleep well. Regular scooters weren’t available to rent when I visited, but they could arrange an electric scooter at a steeper price.

The beach is only about a five-minute walk away, and the hostel has snorkeling gear available. The living room is big and bright, and everything felt just right for a lovely stay. Frank was friendly, helpful, and always available. He shared useful tips about renting scooters and restaurants to try. Thanks again for the warm welcome!

The gender-separated rooms were a nice setup, and ours had its own shower and toilet. There was also a balcony for drying swimwear and other clothes. The common area has games and a cozy feel, and the kitchen made the hostel feel homey. Frank helped us rent scooters, suggested places to visit, and arranged a tour. The beach is incredibly close, and it was one of the best I’ve been to. Even in the morning, evening, or late afternoon, it never felt too crowded. It’s a great choice for a first trip to Penghu, and still a great place if you’ve been before. I really recommend Bayhouse Hostel :)

It was an easy walk to the beach, and Frank made us feel very welcome. He was easy to reach and gave us rides to and from the airport. He also suggested good places to eat, rent bikes, and take in the scenery. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean and nice, with lots of amenities provided. Fantastic stay!
