The rooms were spacious and clean, though this isn’t a fancy five-star Hilton. Our room had a dehumidifier, which was useful since it can get humid. The hotel was also a great spot to watch the fireworks festival.

Penghu Youth Activity Center is worth a visit. The hotel is beside Guanyin Pavilion Recreation Park, and it’s just a five-minute walk to the nearby city, so getting around is convenient. The location is great, the price is reasonable, and the staff are great. The 4F viewing platform is an excellent place to watch fireworks.

As soon as we left the room, my family’s allergies went away. While we were inside, everyone had symptoms, and my daughter kept sneezing so much she could barely sleep. The room felt very damp, and the sanitation wasn’t good enough. I’m sure the room’s condition had something to do with it.

The rooftop view during the fireworks festival is the real draw. They burst right in front of you, which is breathtaking. The rooms are clean, though the air conditioner is a lower-tier brand and its fan makes a bit of noise. Renovations are underway now: the facade on the third floor, which is at ground level, already looks quite nice, and the lower floors are meant to be updated over time.

Being so close to the fireworks venue was convenient, but I couldn’t sleep well on either of my two nights because the bed was too hard. I’d also suggest changing the bathroom fan.
