The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and really comfortable. I especially liked having a hammock outside each one, a lovely spot to unwind and watch the sunset. The breakfast looked modest at first, but there was plenty. It’s a great little B&B tucked into a tiny town. You’ll need a short drive to get to a restaurant, but I still thought it was a lovely place to stay.

There’s no beach or sea in Kenting, but you can enjoy the local way of life here and get a real feel for southern Taiwan’s culture and atmosphere.

Staying at #MoonOverTheHill in Manchuria was a lovely experience. The place has a beautiful, thoughtful feel, from the building to the furnishings, all made with natural materials. You can sense how much the owner wanted to share the beauty of this spot. With more time, I would’ve loved to lounge in a hammock under the blue sky, enjoy the breeze, read, and have a filling breakfast before biking out to explore Gangzai Desert and even Xuhai. I was on a mission to finish my trip, so I couldn’t settle in like that. #SoloFriendlyAccommodation #BicycleFriendlyAccommodation

Everything at the guesthouse felt just right, from the decor and amenities to the books, upkeep, and breakfast. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the things inside, which was a shame. I’d definitely recommend spending a few nights in Manzhou and taking it easy.
