It's really quiet both day and night, and the whole place is very clean. Booking online went smoothly. We only met the owner when we arrived, which was fine. For breakfast, there's a friendly place with good coffee about a five-minute walk toward the main street. This is a good base for visiting Taiping street and hiking among the tea bushes. Such beautiful scenery!

No breakfast is included, which is the one downside. Otherwise, the guesthouse is exceptionally clean and convenient: there's parking and an elevator, the room hairdryer works well, and the bathroom has heating, great if you get cold in winter. The appliances are top brands like TO TO O and Panasonic, even the tap water is softened. Every door has an easy digital keypad lock, so there's no key to lose. I'd definitely come back next time. Highly recommended 😊

The room was very clean and the facilities were new, but I don't agree with the rule against eating in the room. Even five-star hotels allow that. Guests have to go down to the lobby, and there's no microwave or anything similar. For a fairly high price, breakfast wasn't included either, and nearby food options were scarce. You have to walk a bit to reach a convenience store. Travel should feel relaxing. To me, eating instant noodles, snacks, or local food in the room while watching TV is normal. Having to get dressed and go downstairs just to eat doesn't sit right with me.

The host was so welcoming, especially with the children. They were adorable, polite, and professional when showing us around the house. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet.
