Cloudland Resort

The woman who runs the place was really nice, and the hotel was pretty clean. I first thought I’d give it five stars, but the noise kept waking us at night and early in the morning. During our stay, the owner’s baby cried loudly every night and early morning. On our second night, we also woke to the owners’ family yelling at each other in a huge argument about money. That didn’t feel very professional. I wish I could give it five stars because the lady was so kind.

The soundproofing was great, and the staff were very nice. Rooms are a good size for Miaoli. There were a few mosquitoes, though.

The place felt so cozy and welcoming, almost like home. It’s definitely somewhere I’d stay again on future visits. The property had recently been renovated, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. My room was comfortable and clean, and the location was central, within walking distance of the city. The owner was attentive and made me feel welcome. I also liked having a coffee machine ready for a fresh cup in the morning. Breakfast was included, but I didn’t have time to try it during my short visit. I chose to get Hakka food at the nearby morning market instead.

The owners were friendly and attentive, and the staff even suggested places to go for fun. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had great water pressure, with no temperature changes, and stretching out on the soft bed after a hot shower felt wonderful. I had a lovely stay during my vacation in Miaoli, and I’d highly recommend the place.
