We stayed for two nights, and on our last day the landlady invited us to share breakfast with a group that had just checked in. The rooms were clean and roomy, and you can rent a motorbike right there. It’s also easy to get around by bus. The hotel is close to Fu'ao Port, which is especially handy when arriving by ferry. A good option for a trip to Nangan! 👍👍

We’d never visited Matsu before and planned a self-guided, island-hopping trip, so we booked three nights. Breakfast wasn’t included, but the landlady kindly shared breakfast that had been prepared for a group. She also made our 6:20 pm meal ahead of time and even fried us two eggs, since we had to catch the 7 am ferry. When we later wanted to rent a scooter for an hour to see places we’d missed, she simply handed over the keys and told us to be careful. There was no charge ❤️💌. We’re an older couple and would definitely stay with them again if we get the chance.

The landlady was welcoming and especially attentive to keeping older guests safe. Our twin room was spacious, and it stayed quiet at night. Breakfast was tasty congee with side dishes. The place is close to Fu'ao Wharf and offers a shuttle too. A lovely base for Nangan.

I needed to take the daytime ferry back to Keelung after returning from Fuzhou, so I stayed overnight at a holiday hotel near the pier. It was an easy walk across the sports field and past a Starbucks. There were noodle shops and a FamilyMart nearby as well, so the essentials were close at hand.

The room was clean and really comfortable. The place is well located near both the port and a bus stop, and they can arrange airport transfers. They were also able to book a Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus tour for us.
