A pretty good place, and quite cheap for how it looks. The staff are humble and friendly, but only one woman speaks a little English. Most of the time they use Google translator to communicate. Still, it's a pretty nice spot to chill.

The service wasn't very good, and the quality seems to get worse each time I come back. I've stayed here several times. For more than 5000 yuan a night, I expected cleaner floors. There was dust everywhere, and I could even see lots of stuff floating in the air. At check-in, they said breakfast was from 10:00 to 10:30. I came down at 9:30 and was told it was all gone. After paying over 5000 yuan, were we supposed to have bread for breakfast? They eventually asked what we wanted and had a waitress bring it out, but it was cold. I was completely dumbfounded.

The facilities and food were very good, but there was a strong smoke smell. I also got charged 500 for early check-in. Agoda had originally shown check-in at 8 am, though I only noticed in the details that it was actually 10 am.

I was meeting friends for dinner, and check-in wasn't until 10 PM, so that timing was fine. I stayed in room 106. It was large and comfortable, with a bathtub that was a big plus. The Dyson hairdryer was handy, the soft bed was acceptable, and there was a massage chair, though its leather was peeling in places. The equipment was a little old but seemed maintained. Cleanliness needs work, though. The place being old is fine, but it needs to be clean. The window was open and wouldn't shut properly, probably because of rust. A woman might not have enough strength to close it. Even shut, it didn't block much sound. There was a good birthday offer this month, half price on weekdays and $1000 off on weekends for people celebrating a birthday that month. Membership costs $300, and gives discounts at all the hotels under the Tianyun Hotel Group. After I got home, I developed a genital infection. I saw a doctor and tried to work out how it happened, then remembered I'd taken a bath there. Their hygiene needs to improve!!!
