Fresh mountain air and a peaceful setting made this a relaxing escape from the city. We stayed two days with our family, and the owners were incredibly friendly. One early morning, a Taiwan Blue Magpie even came to visit! It’s a convenient three-minute drive to Nanzhuang Old Street. Families with kids should find plenty to do here, since you can play around the guesthouse even without going out.

We went with family for one night over the Double Ten holiday and booked four rooms. All of them had wooden floors and were spacious and spotless, and the shared areas were roomy and well cared for. It was clear the owner puts a lot into running the place. We had a pleasant time drinking tea outside, and the kids had room to play. The owners were very friendly, and breakfast was homemade, generous, and filling. We enjoyed the coffee and other drinks too. Adults and children all had a great time. It’s a lovely place for a relaxing holiday, and I’d stay again next time I’m in Nanzhuang. Highly recommended!
