The place was clean and functional, and the tea leaves in the room were nice. That's about all I liked. I paid more than 5k TWD for a Thursday night in the low season, and without Uber there was no way to get anywhere. Even Uber Eats wouldn't deliver. The hotel kindly tried to call a taxi, but quoted me four times the Uber price. It must have been lovely many years ago, judging by the pictures. I heard construction noise at 23 p.m. and again from 9:45 a.m. onward, as in the video. Such a shame. Breakfast was included, but it was just a cup of soy milk and 2-3 buns. If I'd known, I'd have gone somewhere else.

The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the views over Yangmingshan with its fresh, crisp mountain air made this the relaxing getaway we needed. Dinner and breakfast were just so-so, but the stay was still really relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to unwind in nature.

The hot spring was fantastic, and management thoughtfully provided dinner since the nearest shop is some distance away. We accidentally left our apparels behind, but the lovely staff miss xu coordinated getting them sent to our next accommodation. The main drawback was the poor sound insulation from above. We could hear the neighbor upstairs quite clearly.

We chose the secluded setting for a peaceful escape, and the Japanese-themed family suite with its private hot spring was beautiful and serene, with a lovely mix of comfort and cultural charm. The hotel is hard to reach without a private hire or your own car, but the quiet surroundings are part of the appeal. Breakfast and dinner were both included, and the room service was top-notch. Breakfast was delicious. When staff noticed we had leftovers, they kindly offered a different option the next morning to better suit our taste. We did lose WiFi for a day, but the hotel responded by offering us a complimentary second night. Their attentiveness and that gesture really stood out.

We picked the fifth-floor room for the best view during our two-hour hot spring visit. It was comfortable and clean, with lots of unexpected amenities. We chose this hotel because it's pet-friendly, and staff had even set out diapers and food and water bowls for our pup. They were very approachable and accommodating. The room was so comfortable that I'd recommend staying more than two hours. I'd definitely try an overnight stay in the future, since dinner and breakfast are apparently included.
