Just Sleep Sanchong

Breakfast was a highlight, with something different each morning and changing chef’s specials. It exceeded what we expected from a four-star hotel and gave us a great start to the day. Our roughly 29-square-meter room felt spacious, modern, and well equipped, including a bathtub and separate shower with quality fixtures. The playful, youthful decor was unusual but we liked it. The hotel is beside an MRT station, so getting into the city was quick, and there are plenty of affordable local food spots nearby. Staff were professional and especially helpful: they patiently explained things in English with gestures and extra detail when needed, which made us feel welcome. We had a very pleasant stay at Just Sleep Hotel in New Taipei and would happily return to explore Taipei.

They surprised me with a free room upgrade, and the amenities were better than I expected. The room was spotless and had a layout I really liked, with plenty of space and no cramped feeling. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful throughout. I had a really comfortable stay and would come back.

We stayed at Just Sleep Hotel Sanchong Taipei in March 2026, our second visit after staying in 2023. We were very pleased again and enjoyed the night view over the surrounding area from our room. My family and I plan to return the next time we’re in the region, and hope to see the staff again. The whole team was professional, friendly, and helpful. In particular, Front Desk William, Wayne, Ms Ching, the lead person in the cafe area, and others whose names I didn’t catch all stood out. Staff gave us a firm but polite notice when we realized we’d made mistakes, and that was no problem. We also saw what looked like an overseas tour group and its coordinator causing the staff some trouble because of poor planning on the group’s end. I believe the hotel staff handled their duties appropriately, and I’d gladly speak up for the Just Sleep team. Their service is exceptional.

The location is hard to beat: the metro is right outside, the bakery is next door, and there’s a Family mart across the road that you can reach underground. Lots of restaurants are nearby, including a newly opened Izakaya two minutes away. They provide basic drinks and snacks for tea breaks, as well as porridge for supper. It’s a simple, no-frills hotel with a good breakfast, comfortable rooms, and everything a small family or traveler needs. It may not be a big five-star place, but it’s one of the best we’ve stayed at in the past decade. Glad to be back, and special thanks to Vicky for the warm welcome and impeccable service.
