There are lots of nearby trails if you enjoy walking or hiking, and we had a really pleasant stay. This BnB is a distinctive place made by converting old houses. Our host's mother gave us a warm welcome and was very friendly. Communication with the host was excellent. Coming by bus? Look for the colourful Tibetan prayer flags outside the rooms, then take the steps down from the bus stop.

We wished we'd booked more than one night. The village is charming and close to hiking trails, and the photos show the place as it really is. It's a tiny lodge/B&B with three rental spaces. Ours was thoughtfully put together with good taste, and the owner built most of it himself. The woman who welcomed us was kind and helpful. She'd stocked the fridge with fruit and sweet snacks, plus two sausage sandwiches. Those aren't suitable for vegetarians, but we hadn't mentioned that ahead of time, so she couldn't have known.

The owner is so friendly and kind, and she'll let you know the nearby shops' hours and which buses to take. The air conditioner can heat the room too, which was great since it's been so cold lately. Inside was spotless, and even the blankets smelled fresh from the laundry detergent. It's a hundred-year-old house turned into a guesthouse, with a bit of a Taiwanese folktale atmosphere 😂😂😂 ⛄️
