Fu Men Hotel has a traditional ancestral-home feel, and the building is kept up well. The rooms and spacious bathrooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and I had no hygiene or bug problems. The wooden character gives the place a distinctive charm. I booked on Agoda for about NT$1500, which seemed fair. Breakfast costs extra and is charged from the menu. Parking for cars and scooters is available, but it's first come, first served, so arriving early may help. It's around a 10 minute motorcycle ride from the main central area. That distance wasn't a problem for me, and the surroundings were quieter with less traffic. The centralized air conditioning can't be adjusted room by room, which could be inconvenient depending on your preference. Check out is at 11:00 AM, but I got a wake up call at 10:45. The ringtone was loud and startled me a bit 😅.

Thanks so much for the great service, 10/10 😍. My husband and I have been coming back for four months because of it. We just checked out of room 206 on the second floor today, and I think I left my black shorts there. I gave them my passport ID and my husband's mobile number. Hope to hear back, thanks.

There was old grime on the bathtub, TV cabinet, and sheets, and the photos showed dirt and damage. I hope they repair or replace those things.
