Coco Motel

I’ve tried three different room types, and it’s hard to give a straightforward review. The area is mostly farmland with only a few houses, so nights are very quiet. The rooms are decent but short on amenities. The main annoyance is the wet-dry separation in the bathroom, since the floor stays wet after a shower.

The room was quite comfortable overall, but it smelled strongly of ketamine… The bathroom got really wet after showering, even with the shower and toilet in separate areas.

I left my Oppo watch on the table and called around, but everyone said they couldn’t find it. I usually remember to take valuables with me when leaving. I worried about data leaks and the trouble that could cause, so I reported it missing to the police right away. The watch has GPS, so my phone could still pinpoint it even after it was lost. Now that it’s been found, I can cancel the report. Thanks to the travel agency for getting in touch and helping me locate it. A downside was that they only took cash, with no credit cards or invoices. I’d never before come across a place that didn’t proactively issue invoices. The room smelled strongly of smoke, and the blankets had a really unpleasant odor.

Terrible stay. The room was awful, there was no breakfast, and I’d never return even if it were free. Accommodation cost 2100 RMB per square meter.
