We booked two rooms for our family of five and all enjoyed the spacious rooms, attentive service, and tasty breakfast. The bathroom setup was a highlight, especially the huge soaking tub. We were also lucky to witness the religious celebration that takes place every 12 years. Puli is a wonderful place to visit.

We visited in December, so I can't say what it's like in summer. The place was wonderfully quiet, with crisp morning air and nature all around. Our room was clean, the sheets smelled fresh, and the in-room hot spring was the highlight. We also had tea by the window and sat outside to enjoy the fresh air. Both breakfast and dinner were included, with generous portions and a simple, traditional flavor. The villa host was thorough and helpful with local sightseeing and food suggestions. He also helped us rent scooters for the day and arrange a shared taxi to HSR Taichung. Be sure to ask!

We stayed one night on Nov 30, 2016. The owner was very friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were included. The food was fresh and tasty. Our room was huge, over 600 sqft, and decorated throughout with solid wood. The place was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing, just two minutes from highway 6. Highly recommended for couples or families.
