The hotpot at dinner was lovely. It was a little pricey, but the meat was very good. Service and food were otherwise decent, and our room had a nice view. There's a 7-11 about a seven-minute walk away for snacks. It's a nice Mingsu up in the mountains, but be ready for the cold: there's no indoor heater, so nights and shower time can feel especially chilly. There isn't a lift from the lobby to the rooms either, which could make the stairs difficult for older guests.

The service was cordial and generally good, and the hotpot was tasty and worth the price, though I thought they put in too much cabbage. I liked the building and its decor, and the room had the right wooden cabin feel. The bathroom was the letdown. Ventilation wasn't good enough to cool the room, so they provided a fan. It improved the airflow, but took away a bit from the woodsy feel.

The views from the room are breathtaking, and there's a well-kept boardwalk that runs down to the foot of the hill. The owner also runs a hotpot restaurant, and the food was VERY good. They even offer free pickup and drop-off at major attractions, which is a huge convenience. My family was pleasantly surprised. Strongly recommend it!

A great hotel in Nantou. The room was very spacious and clean, and the front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful. The food was great too, particularly the hotpot.

The inn felt comfortable and relaxing, especially in the cool weather, but I had a bad experience with one staff member asking me to pay again after I'd already paid through a third party. That left me unsure I'd stay again if I have other options. Not everyone on staff was friendly, and the place is expensive. They offer several hotpots to choose from, though those are a little pricey too. I really felt terrible about the whole thing!!!!!
