The garden is a lovely place to sit and watch the ducks wander past, and the duck pond is a great touch. The rooms are spotless and the setting is picturesque. Salzburg is the inn's name, and the rooms have names like Louisa, Gretl, and Fredrich, so it's hard not to break into song and dance. The remote location isn't ideal if you don't drive, but it also keeps man-made noise away. The quiet feels like one of those ambient recordings, and for a moment you could imagine being somewhere other than Taiwan. If you're driving and want to unwind in Hualien, it's a fine choice.

Really comfortable, with a lovely setting. It's a little far out, though. A taxi from Shoufeng (Shoufeng) train station costs a bit over 200 TWD.

The landlady was so kind when I arrived after check-in time, and parking is available. The room was beautiful and the surroundings peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, too. Salzburg Manor is the first place I've ever reviewed, and next time I'm in Hualien it'll be my first choice again. I highly recommend staying here.

The grounds are a lovely stretch of green, and the scenery makes this a great place for the whole family. It’s also a nice base for enjoying the coastal route, County Highway 11. The B&B is beautiful, and breakfast is delicious with a real sense of occasion.

I’d been thinking about staying here for ages, and finally booked two nights for my first visit. The owner’s care comes through in the details, even the stairs are clean. Everyone was polite, and breakfast was delicious. I’d be happy to come back.
