Guanwu Villa

We paid 6050 NTD for one night on April 5/6 during tomb-sweeping holidays, including breakfast and dinner. At that price, I expected a good stay at a 3-star hotel with meals. Instead, it felt more like a mountain refuge worth no more than 3000 NTD on a public holiday, especially when one night costs less at a 5-star hotel in Bangkok. The room and bathroom were very clean, but extremely small, and the wooden floor by the bed was scratched. Dinner was quite ordinary and didn't agree with me. Frogs made noise all night outside the bathroom window, even with it closed. We also had to return our used dishes and cutlery, like in a canteen. Checkout was before 10 am, and they couldn't accept my European gold credit card. It comes across as trying to maximize holiday profits. Chasing short-term gains this way may cost you clients, who can soon find much better and cheaper alternatives.
