The road-facing room needed ear plugs, but the location and price make this a good option. It’s close to bus and train stations and right by the iconic Miyamara ice cream shop. The hotel has been renovated recently, and there’s a small downstairs seating area with snacks and drinks. Reception were friendly, though their English was limited. The shower was good. The bed had some give, but was still firm. Taiwanese beds seem to be like boards, though this wasn’t the hardest one.

We stayed for 4D3N and really enjoyed it. The room looked just like the photos and felt spacious compared with hotels in my country at that price and location. The staff were friendly, especially the young lady we met at check-in. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Taichung! ^^

A modern hotel that’s good value for money and in a fantastic location. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and gave good service.

The first time I booked here, a staff member suddenly came into my room while I was sleeping with my husband. I don’t know why he entered so abruptly. The door had been locked from the inside, but he still got in. It was traumatic. Aren’t hotel staff supposed to know which rooms are occupied and not enter rooms booked by guests? 🤬

The room was clean and updated, and they even offered free snacks and drinks. The hotel is right across the street from the Taizong train station, so I could get almost anywhere! 😀 😊
