The staff were nice, and they left four bottles of water and some snacks. But breakfast was disappointing: we went in the 9 am round, and most of the food was gone without being replenished. The food quality wasn't good either. A few other things made the stay inconvenient. The bathroom had no power socket, so we had to dry our hair in the room. The pillows were too soft to support us, and an extra quilt cost 100 dollars. Toothpaste and toothbrushes weren't provided, and the booking platform didn't mention that. The walk to Taichung station also takes more than 10 minutes.

I stayed three nights. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and my room was bright, clean, and really spacious, with all the essentials. The friendly staff made check-in quick and easy. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel in Taichung.

I've never seen a hotel put an emergency door right at the window, with a hook that swings down. I wonder about rooms with windows that don't have a balcony. Could someone accidentally miss it and get hurt?
