I played football on the university campus. The field could use some upkeep, but the setting is lovely and the venue has bathrooms, basketball courts, scooter parking and vending machines. Taichung could use more places to play football, so I appreciate having this one.

I picked the FCU-UQ business international program because it was supposed to be taught entirely in English, but professors use Chinese more than English in class. Taiwanese students also don't want to do group projects with international students because they don't want to speak English. Why study in an international program then?

I loved the nighttime atmosphere. There was a really wide mix of street food at affordable prices, and coming around 5-6 pm might make it easier to browse and enjoy the food before the road gets too crowded.

The Chinese Language Center at FCU was a lovely experience for me. The teachers make Chinese lessons fun and interactive, and my Chinese improved a lot while I was there. The university is in a great part of Taichung with plenty to do nearby, and the student crowd is international, with many people from other Asian countries. Awesome school!
