If cleanliness matters to you, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I chose it specifically because Googlemaps said parking was available on site. When we arrived, the only spaces were three spots in front, and they were all occupied. We asked where else to park and the front desk staff just shrugged. There was a ton of hair on the bathroom floor. A hair tie was holding the showerhead hook together, and the showerhead kept falling while I was showering. With no shower curtain, the whole bathroom got wet. The pillowcases were so filthy that I had a facial contact allergy about 10 minutes after lying down. I had to cover the pillow with my own shirt. Paint was peeling from the bathroom ceiling, and a chip even fell on me while I showered. This is probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’m amazed they call it a “3-star hotel.”

The service was good, but the beds were quite hard, and without curtains around the bathtub, the bathroom gets a bit wet. For what it offers, it’s definitely too expensive. If being near the location isn’t important, I’d consider other options.

By late May, the blankets felt more like thick winter ones, and I was too hot under them even with the air conditioning set to 22 degrees Celsius. I’d fall asleep, kick them off without thinking, then get cold and keep waking up through the night. I ended up having to set the air conditioning even colder, almost like winter, before I could sleep. I really suggest hotels offer different blankets for summer and winter, perhaps thinner ones or reversible blankets. Guests might sleep better, and the hotel could save on air conditioning electricity too.
