The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. Staff were friendly, the shower was hot with good pressure, and the location was good. Breakfast wasn’t great, though, and our bathroom had a strange smell. All in all, a good stay.

The sheets had stains, and I woke up with several itchy bites. I’m concerned there were bedbugs in the room, which made the stay very uncomfortable and frustrating. It suggests the bedding isn’t being cleaned or maintained properly, and that’s completely unacceptable. The room’s cleanliness overall was far below standard. I hope management takes immediate steps to improve hygiene.

The location is a plus, close to a bus stop, a couple of restaurants, and a park. The room was spacious, but definitely not clean. There were stains and hair on the sheets, dust piled between the mattress, and bugs by the bed. The shower curtain was moldy too. Can it please be replaced? Check-in was at 5pm, and I don’t understand why when the rooms weren’t cleaned thoroughly. The air conditioning barely felt like it was on, and only felt cold after being left open for 5-6 hours. For one night it might be fine, especially if you don’t have allergies. For stays longer than two nights, there are better options around Taichung at a similar price.

The room was clean, though the air vent wasn’t properly closed. There’s a washer and dryer on the first floor, which was handy. The location was good, but breakfast was bare-minimum. I wouldn’t recommend eating there, since there are plenty of nearby choices, like Taichung 2nd market. I won TWD 5000 in the tourism lucky draw and was able to redeem the voucher here. The staff weren’t sure how to do it at first, but managed after checking internally.
