The owner was wonderful and did everything he could to make us comfortable. We dropped our luggage off early, and the trip and stay at his hotel were a joy. It’s a relatively new building, with new furniture, bedding, and bathroom fixtures, plus excellent soundproofing in the rooms. The hotel is on a quiet side street away from Wenxin Rd, and there are lots of affordable restaurants with delicious food within walking distance. It’s a seven-minute walk from City Hall MRT Station.

The balcony was a real plus, it let fresh air circulate and there was no musty smell or stuffy feeling. The hotel is new, with free-flow water and laundry service. The room is on the small side, but that’s my only complaint. We’d booked five nights at Tempest hotel and switched after seeing the state of the room there. This place was so much nicer. 100/100.

The owner was super friendly, and the hotel has everything I could want. There’s breakfast in-house every morning, a mini bar in the lobby all day, and laundry service where they wash, dry, fold, and bring your clothes back to your room. It’s also conveniently close to an MRT station and several convenience stores. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Taichung now.

The owner was really friendly and helpful, and there are convenience stores and good restaurants close by. The room was cozy and clean, with a very nice TV and a comfortable bed. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Taichung. Highly recommended!

We slept better here than anywhere else on our holiday, the bed was fantastic. The place was clean, organised, modern, and classy. The manager went out of his way to look after us, and spoke great English. Breakfast was pleasant too. We were very happy with our stay.
