Maohua Motel

We found the place easily, and it was near a bus stop. Our room was a little small, but comfortable, and we slept like babies. The breakfast buffet was tasty and filling. It felt clean and relaxing. The lobby and first floor were under renovation, so we had to pass through the car basement area, but that wasn't too much trouble.

It's a retro-style hotel, and the location is convenient, though the holiday price was too high. One receptionist wasn't very friendly. Our room had a strange smell, and staff came to check the toilet and help. That only fixed it for a while, though. Once the air freshener wore off, the smell returned.

The staff were great, the rooms pleasant, and both the price and location were good. Housekeeping was very noisy in the morning, banging doors and shouting to each other even when the do not disturb signs were up. The shower room was huge, but the small handheld shower head sat in a loose wall fitting and sprayed all over. Those are minor issues, and I'd definitely stay again.

My friends and I had a great time, and I'd definitely come back 😊 The room was clean and really comfortable. Breakfast runs from 6:30 to 9:30, and the food was delicious with as much as you wanted. Good service too, and I'd recommend it.
