Talmud Hotel Classic Taiwan Boulevard

The breakfast staff were nice, and the place was relatively clean, perhaps because it's new. The bathroom still had stains on the washbasin and around the little spot for a toothbrush. That's the only reason I gave two stars. The room didn't feel livable for us, or suitable for families. There was no desk, dresser, drawer, chair, or table, so our things stayed in the suitcase on the floor. The bathroom had nowhere to set clothes or anything else, and four hangers on a bare wall were all we had for our belongings. The rest was a big empty floor with two bar stools. It felt like a showroom, with a flyer inside acting as an ad for things being sold in the room. The curtains let sunlight through and warmed the room a lot. They didn't overlap, leaving a gap that couldn't be closed. The hair dryer for sale was beside a mini fridge for sale, nowhere near a mirror. There were no “do not disturb” signs. We had requested a cold room when booking, but the lowest setting was 20 and couldn't be changed. It was still very warm, especially when the sun was out. The reception staff weren't very nice either, especially the woman at the evening counter. I would never recommend this place. It was absolutely unlivable for us and not for families.
