There were better hotel options nearby, and I wouldn’t recommend this one. The neighborhood had lots of derelict buildings and homeless people sleeping in the street. From the start, the front desk staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, making the experience unpleasant. In the room, loud AC humming came constantly from both the walls and ceiling and made it very hard to sleep. If noise bothers you or you want a restful night, this isn’t the place.

Most of all, I loved the noon checkout 😍. The room was roomy, simple, and comfortable, with a bathroom, flat-screen TV, handy light switch, good air conditioning, and a soft bed.

We stayed at The Cloud Hotel October 16-18 in a deluxe double room. The room was very basic, though it looked clean, and didn’t feel deluxe. We arrived at 4pm to find no one around, then waited half an hour to get into our room. There’s a coffee machine in the lobby. The WiFi and shower worked well, and the night was very quiet, but there were only a few AC outlets, no bidet, and no night light. The bed was okay. Breakfast mixed Chinese and Western dishes, but nothing was warm. You won’t leave hungry, though it could be better, and it can get noisy at times. The front desk staff were very helpful. Overall, the stay was okay.

The hotel had a bad smell, and the receptionist came across as unfriendly and unhelpful. I did enjoy the breakfast, though.

I checked out around noon, and I hadn't brushed my teeth before leaving. A nice woman at the desk then told me I had to pay for the toothbrush set. I hadn't used any of it while I was in the room, so that was frustrating.
