We found two cockroaches running around the room as soon as we arrived. We got in past midnight and couldn't book somewhere else, but left the next day. They refunded the second night we didn't use. Given how upsetting the experience was, I personally thought they should have refunded the whole bill. If something like this happens, remember to take photos as evidence. The rooms have been refurbished and look modern, but the building itself is a very old apartment block, with food stalls downstairs. Maybe you could have a nice stay if you're lucky, but that wasn't our experience.

We came back after two years and found the same clean, bright room and comfortable bed as before. The smell from the "smelly tofu" shop downstairs was there too. 😉🫢🤧 The room is stylish and a good size, with lovely "ancient" decor and a nice balcony. Check-in is self-service, but communication was good and they sent photos ahead of time. It's about a 20-minute walk from the main railway station, with a Family Mart on the corner.

We had a clean, very spacious room with a comfortable bed, small balcony, and even a clothes washing machine. The local market was across the street, and the train station was a 15-minute walk away. It suited us well. Just make sure you know it's a self-check-in hotel. If you're unfamiliar with that setup, it could drive you crazy.

Good, clean room at a price that fit my budget. Great value for money.
