Good value for the price.

The self check-in was easy, and the owner was kind enough to let us leave our luggage after check-out. Our clean, comfortable room was quite close to the station, which was handy. The soundproofing could be a little better, but it was affordable and good value. I'd consider staying again.

The room was fairly clean, and it's quiet at night. Parking nearby is easy to find, and the self-service setup is convenient since there's no need to go through a front desk. Booking might be easy too, probably because not many people book here. Hopefully the owner will upgrade the facilities so more people will want to stay. A few things made the room uncomfortable. The air conditioning took ages to cool down. Even set to 16 degrees Celsius, it felt like home at 27. The TV was so green that all I could see was white, and faces and food looked green too. Like a horror movie, haha. You couldn't contact them by phone before booking, perhaps to protect privacy, but we were anxious about paying and then finding no room available. The hairdryer was incredibly weak, the bedroom light was very dim, and the bed had only one mattress. I felt like I was sleeping on the floor.

The alley was very quiet at night, with only the occasional voice, and the room was very clean. The lighting was atmospheric, though too dim if you want a bright room. The shower space was enough, but you might bump into the curtain a little. It has a storage-type water heater, so use discretion with the water flow; you can shower properly. If you turn it all the way up, I'd say you haven't used this kind of heater before 🤪. Remember to ask the host for a thick blanket. It was 15 degrees Celsius outside in Tainan, and the thin one provided left me a bit cold. The air conditioning in Nordic Dream was too noisy. Luckily I stayed in winter, because in summer I'd only give it 1.5 stars. I usually give four or five, but the AC noise, thin blanket, and bumping the shower curtain made me reluctantly give it two. This was the Nordic Dream/Two Single Beds Room. The third floor is an extension to the rooftop, while the Nordic dream is on the second floor. Bring your own slippers, since the owner provides non-disposable ones.
