Having a 7-Eleven downstairs was handy, and parking was available if you reserved it. The downsides were poor soundproofing and nonstop noise from people, water, and motors. It was also very humid, although there was a dehumidifier.

The room itself was spacious, had no odors, and came with comfortable cabinets and sofas. Everything worked, including a fast, powerful hairdryer, and the hot water was just right. The price was excellent value, and the staff responded quickly 👍🏻 The luggage storage was useful, but five other lockers were missing or looked broken, so I was lucky to find somewhere for my things. The air conditioning was quite loud even at 20°C. Earplugs might help, though it was still noisy. I hope the owner can improve that.

Toilet paper was provided instead of toilet paper, and only bath towels were supplied, no other towels. The rooms and shared areas were clean and spacious. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, with plenty of hot water and good pressure. There’s an elevator, drinking fountains on every floor, magnetic key access, luggage storage, and parking, though spaces are limited and need to be reserved. Weekend stay (Sat-Sun): $2600. If the reserved parking is full, you can look for parking on Section 4 of West Gate Road.

The room had lots of space and was very comfortable. I liked the huge mirror that could be adjusted to the angle I wanted, and the international brand hairdryer didn’t damage my hair. There was a row of cabinets for luggage, a dehumidifier, an elevator on each floor, and a water dispenser. With the air conditioning set to 25 degrees Celsius, I slept comfortably until the next day. The only drawback was a faint smoky smell. I couldn’t tell if it came from the bathroom near the balcony door or from the previous guest. This was a weekday evening stay, and I paid 633 yuan through Booking.com. Parking was available. It’s a little out of the way, but the guesthouse sent pictures and directions, so it was easy to find. There’s a 7-Eleven and a TeaMo nearby, plus a breakfast shop in the morning. I thought it was great value for money.
