The location was great, but Fundi was easily my worst stay in 25 days of traveling around Taiwan. We arrived after reception time and found the room door wide open. There was mold at the bathroom sink and in the AC, the shower tiles were cracked and broken, and the place generally felt untidy and unclean. The bath towels were small and didn't really dry you completely. There were no hand towels, no towel hooks or any hangers, and no kettle or thermos in the room. It was supposedly renovated in 2021, but it sure didn't feel that way. You could say the location was what I paid for and the rest was a bonus, but when the basics aren't up to an acceptable standard, the whole deal feels sour.

Both rooms smelled like cigarettes, and other guests were VERY loud. The heater was rusty, the room was very humid, and the windows wouldn't open even though it was a single-story hotel. The Wi-Fi was bad too. I also have a feeling the bedspread hadn't been washed. Unacceptable.

I really enjoyed both Tainan and FUNDI HOTEL. The rooms were clean, the location was good, and the young women working there were kind. It was cheap, too. I stayed three nights, from 2016/1/10-13, and felt comfortable every day. I'm over 65, and had no problems. There were lots of young Taiwanese couples staying there, and they were quiet and polite. thank you very much！！

Getting into the lobby was confusing. You have to call a Taiwan number first, which is a problem for foreign visitors without a local mobile. We only got inside after another Taiwanese couple called the number for us.
