Good Time Warm Home

The staff member who welcomed me was friendly and professional, and explained everything. I could leave my bag in the shared living room until check-in. It had the basic equipment I'd expect from a hostel, and I appreciated being able to refill my water, though towels weren't provided. The location was good, and it was just right for a one-night stay. I was in the seven-bed dorm, which surprised me because it had no window, just a glass divider facing the other ten-bed dorm. The air quality wasn't great even with the air conditioning on all night, and the noise made it hard to sleep.

It's tucked away on a small street, but easy enough to find. The location and price were good, and the staff were friendly. My only gripe was the fans and air conditioning running at high speed all the time. When they switch off, it gets so stuffy you can hardly stand it :)

After a couple of weeks travelling around Taiwan, this was the first hostel where I could really relax and feel comfortable. The rooms were spacious and warmly decorated. Each bed had its own light and privacy curtain, and the bunks were tall enough for people on the bottom beds to sit upright easily. I also really appreciated that the toilets had paper towels. I hadn't seen those in many Taiwanese hostels, to be honest. 🙏😊

Such a cozy, pretty hostel, highly recommended! It's in a great spot for getting around, and there's a traditional market nearby with lots of tasty local food to try. Everything was clean and new, including the facilities. My friend and I loved staying here, and we'll come back if we visit Tainan again.
